Choosing cash for your payment method is very easy and only takes a couple of seconds to do.
First you need to log-in to your app.
Then click on Wallet and scroll down to Ride Profiles where you will select your profile. In most cases, this will be Personal if you have not renamed it. Once there you can select your Default Payment as Cash.
During the ride you might get the following message: Your drivers phone will show you the amount to pay at the end of the trip.
Once you complete your ride, youll simply hand the driver the cash required to cover your fare and you should still receive an email receipt after the Uber driver has taken your cash payment.
Note: I tried to use cash as a payment and after setting it as my default payment the app never prompted me to had over my cash. Thus, I think that the cash payment feature could be faulty for some users.

This isnt a difficult thing to do, but it does require you to follow a few steps.
In this post, well take a look at what those steps are, as well as some common questions people have about how to remove credit card info from Uber.
How To Edit Your Uber Credit Card Information
If youve received a new card with an updated expiration date, it doesnt make sense to delete your credit card and add all the same info again.
For cases like these, Uber has an Edit option you can use.
To get to this option, youll follow many of the same steps as before.
First, go to the Payment menu in the Uber app.
Next, tap on the payment method you want to edit.
From there, tap the three dots in the upper righthand corner of the screen.
Then, tap Edit. Youll now be able to see and edit your credit card details:
